Request: Rocket Jump Extreme Logo

Hey guys, I'm asking for a bit of help here. I'm having a bit of difficulty making a decent logo for my remastered version of RJX, and I was wondering if anyone could spare some time to help me out with making one. I'll be using it for the main menu logo as well as for a console pic. The logo would be used for RJX2 as well.

If anyone makes one up I'd be grateful and would credit accordingly.

But for reals, I'm hoping to get some help on a logo, since all I need to finish the remastered RJX is a new logo, creditpic, titlepic, and interpic.

If nobody can make one, it's not a problem. I'll keep trying to come up with a good one for it.

Can I claim console pic with that drawing?

That picture should be part of the tutorial level in RJX2

What kind of logo you need? Does it has to be in Doom's colour palette?

Consider the last two as a last resort.

You can browse more fonts in that website, but take into account that you must choose a font that legible in small sizes since Doom graphics are tiny.

you could also use a simpler one, but since it's a logo, it has to look bold.

I like the first one the most (Broken Detroit), followed by the third. (Depraved)

I do need it in doom's colors if possible, and it's just something simple enough to be thrown in with a transparent background.

RJC does have a strong relation to tech / urban style maps, since a lot of it takes place in HI TECH BASES!

I'm making a logo using the Broken Detroit font, and it's kind of hard to read when I downscale the logo, this issue can be circumvented if we use a larger logo and the TEXTURES lump so we can have a higher res logo in less space (x2 should be enough)

You need a TEXTURES lump with the following code:

Seems like I can't get the file to work without changing the whole thing into a PK3 though. (the textures lump) It sucks, and scaling it down to between 160/64 is making me go crazy.

Slade 3 supports png, I don't about XWE, so I can't help you there. So yeah, try again, if you don't succeed, upload the wad and I'll do it for you.

Cool that you liked it, I tried adding the Rocket Launcher instead of that building in the text, but it looked really bad. Maybe for RJX2 I can do something more related to rockets.

Seems even with slade, it won't work. I think the textures lump has a thing with GFX where it rejects it unless it's in pk3 format. A smaller version from the current 300/120 could work though...maybe 150 / 64.(It may look uglier but i'm willing to test)

By the way, when will you need the logo for RJX2? I'm working on it right now, it's just a small variation, but different enough I guess. I will upload it when I finish it.
