Got a new pc

Its pretty sweet but I can't play some games I could play on the old laptop. Its all good though. Right now I'm waiting on ATT to come over and give me my high speed so I can stop going on and off the neighbors wifi which likes to leave me hanging when iI am in the middle of something. SO before the wifi goes I just wanna say that i'll be visiting soon . Cya soon!

Update: Internet will be back on Tuesday next week :>. 6 MORE DAYS OF FAILED WIFI!!!

You'll need to emulate WinXP for those great games amigo, get VirtualBox; you can even download already installed virtual versions of it. Also, get DOSbox if you like oldies but goldies like I do =).

Windows 7 comes with a feature that allows you to run stuff in "XP mode". I've never needed it though, everything works fine (except DOS games, obviously, for that you use DOSbox).

Interesting, Sebas. I found many things, mainly games; that would not run in Win7, sometimes this being related to the fact that I'm on a x64 system.
Of course, there are other ways, for instance; I found many official and unofficial patches or tweaks to make some games run on Windows 7.

I'm on x64 too, never had a single problem.

K SOOOOOOOO AT&T has got to be the most frustrating company EVER! I ordered internet from them 3 times lmao. The first 2 were cancelled and today the 3rd was cancelled BUT I called ATT to give them the best phone call they would ever receive in enraged customer support. They told me that the order was still there and that I would have internet access TONIGHT! Bad news: I have no idea how to set this crap up so I'm waiting for the technician who should be here at 12-4PM. Good news: The equipment I need came in today through UPS. SO, lets see how this goes. FOR NOW ATT is forgiven. We'll see what happens tomorrow, the technician might die of an "Accidental stab wound", or "Accidental trip off the roof" >: )
